Josef Joestar

A bizarre twist on the traditional English Shandy.

Sarsaparilla - 80 ml
Pale ale - 80 ml
American Honey whiskey - 30ml
Two cherries

Start with your Sarsaparilla, add your shot of whiskey, and add ale. Drop in 2 cherries.

Sweetness ★★☆☆☆
Refreshing ★★★★☆
Alcohol content ★★★☆☆
Acquired taste ★★☆☆☆
And the next line you'll say is... ★★★★★

Notes: A variation on the traditional shandy, this drink is a little curious, a little sweet, and will knock you on your ass if you're not paying attention.

BG Notes: For this I used Union Jack India Pale Ale and Snoqualmie Falls Sarsaparilla. I tried a few ales, but the Union Jack blended in really well with the Sarsaparilla, which is definitely tangier and more flavorful than other brands.
While the Sarsaparilla is an acquired taste on it's own, the whiskey and ale smooth it out really well.

It's a drink that's very easy to accidentally have too much of, as it goes down very smoothly.
/Oops I forgot to take a picture with the whiskey

  1. Bruh, you need to add some cherries to the kakyoin drink.
